Happy Monday! The photo today is a picture of my daughter eating her "Pumpkin Pancake Dippers." My children love them. Basically, make whatever pancake recipe you are making for pancakes, but make them really small, and let them dip them in the syrup. It makes for a fun, happy, giggly Sunday night supper!
It has been a busy morning here, my daughter is off to school, and it's almost time to drive my son over to his. The shopping has already been done for this weeks menu, and I tell you, if you have not done a menu plan, start. It makes it so much easier. There are times I get out of menu planning, and I am always so happy when I get back into it. Write them down as you go, and then you will have a collection to draw from when you just don't feel like doing it.
Well, I went over and officially joined the Monday Menu planner. I know Natalie of Gluten Free Mommy , Sea from The Book of Yum do it every week. , and now Carrie from Ginger Lemon Girl has one as well.Just like anything, this menu is meant to be flexible, going with the flow type of thing.
Monday: Roast Beef with mustard paste & onions, with roasted potatoes and Greek Village Salad
Tuesday: Chinese Sesame Chicken Bites, with Taste of Thai rice, stir fry veggies
Wednesday: Crock pot Risotto, with green beans
Thursday: Goat Cheese and Spinach Quiche
Friday: Vegetarian Wraps/chicken burgers (since my children won't eat the veggie wraps)
Saturday: Leftovers, or easy night
Sunday: Supper - Pumpkin Pancakes (Check out Gluten Free Mommy's Pumpkin Pancake), or just add some canned pumpkin to a mix, and as far as mixes go, I prefer Pamela's.

So glad to find your blog. My husband is allergic to wheat, so gluten free works well for us. I look forward to trying some of your recipes!

what a delicious picture and a great meal plan.
Can I list your blog as part of my list of dedicated GF bloggers?

that goat cheese and spinach quiche sounds delicious SM!! Do you use a crust or go no-crust! Please post your recipe!! Great menu!!
TM - Welcome!! thanks for taking the time to comment. Also, there are a lot more blogs out there. So many of them helped me when I first started out.
Tegdirb92 - Hello! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. And, thanks for the lovely compliment! :)
Ginger Carter - Of course you can! Thanks for asking. I'll have to stop by and check out your blog.
Carrie - Yup. I'll be posting it. Maybe sooner rather than later, since I always switch my days around. :)
I almost forgot about that brilliant risotto! I am glad you are doing a menu because it reminds me of some of those old posts I have been meaning to try.
Great looking menu, everything looks yummy!!!
Happy MPM!
Sandra
Welcome to Menu Plan Monday! Your menu looks really great! Especially that Green Village Salad! I will have to make that! Yum!

Natalie - I agree. Doing the menu planner also shows how those 'old' recipes are still workhorses in our kitchens. I just forgot about crock pots...they are great for fall, and now with busy after school times, I think it will be a supper-saver!
Sandra - Thanks for the welcome!! It is a very cool thing - the menu planner..it'll keep me om track!
Sherry - Thanks for the warm welcome. It's a great salad, I LOVE chunky salads, and it's my daughter's fav, so we have it quite a bit.
I love the new blog pic/style. It looks great :)
Thanks Natalie. I was going to go back the apple for fall (remember those? maybe not) but I lost my pic. And since I always talk about cappucino...this seemd perfect for me, and fall.
I am not the greatest with HMTL, but I am plugging away...question, does the page take a long time to load? I am not sure, but am wondering if the photo uses too much memory.. :)
SM-
My laptop is three years old and it runs fine for me. I don't see a difference.
Thanks Natalie - My laptop is being all glitchy, so I wasn't sure what is was!!
